Kansas City Tamil Sangam,Inc is a registered, non-profit organization, which aims to promote Tamil culture and heritage.

Kansas City Tamil Sangam is an organization devoted to people in and around Kansas City area who have an interest in Tamil language and culture. The primary mission of Tamil Sangam is to promote and cultivate Tamil language and culture by organizing social and cultural events, celebrating major Tamil festivals, teaching Tamil to the next generation and participation in charitable causes. Membership to Tamil Sangam is open to anyone who have an interest in Tamil language and culture.We seek to provide a forum for the Tamil community, primarily in and around Kansas City region .KCTS shall be non-political and non-sectarian. It shall remain secular and shall not discriminate against any person because of his/her religious beliefs or ethnic background. KCTS Shall serve the Local and Tamil community in Kansas city area and also in the region of Tamilnadu, India.

KCTS shall be charitable and non-profit as defined under section 501(C) (3). Its income shall be derived from the membership dues, from charitable donations, and grants from members, corporations and other revenue generating functions/fund raising events. Through its various programs and events KCTS will strive to cater to the needs of the wider Tamil Community that has made Kansas city its home.
